Wisdom Christian Academy (WISCA) is a premier co-educational primary and secondary school fully accredited (approved) by the Benue State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Where is the school located?
Wisdom Christian Academy is located at Plot 1711,Wica Street, Beside NKST Igbayue, Genabe Phase III, Behind Makurdi Correctional Centre(Prisons), Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria.

How can I enrol my child(ren) in the School?
Our admission (enrollment) process is very simple. Parents/Guardians can pick up an admission form at the school during school hours or download here or apply click here to apply online . Parents that downloded form online or obtained hard-copy from school can filled and returned to the school Administrator for processing.

How can I get involved in school activities?
You can get involved in school activities through the Parent Teacher Forum (PTF). This is a forum where parents and teachers meet to discuss the various initiatives of the school and to plan the way forward. The PTF meets on a regular basis.

Does the school have Rules and Regulations?
Yes, the school has rules and regulations that teach learners sound moral and ethical behaviour (see the school rules and regulations for details).

Are there any clubs that my child can join?
The school has club activities in place to nurture and equip its learners with all round educational development. Learners are taught entrepreneurship/creativity skills such as beads making; sewing/stitching (tailoring basics); soap and petroleum jelly making; kung fu; and other sports etc.

How will I know if my child is progressing at school?
Our teachers work closely with parents to monitor the progress of their children. The school has a feedback booklet, in which the teachers provide the parents with the daily progress of the learners. In addition, the headteacher and teachers meet with the parents during the open day prior to the half term break. The open day provides an opportunity for the parents to check the learners' books, discuss the progress of their children with the class teachers and mutually agree on the way forward.

What are the health and welfare arrangements at the school?
The school has hired a registered nurse to take care of the children who report sick during school hours. The nurse only provides first aid treatment, while the children are taken to the hospital in case of emergency or are taken home to their parents for further medication.

How do I make a complaint?
Complaints can be made through the learner communication/feedback book. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can make an appointment to speak to the Headteacher/Director of Schools.
